COVID - 19 | Update #4

  • City of Isle of Palms is under a state of emergency.
  • City Council will hold an emergency meeting Friday, March 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Due to the CDC's guidelines for the public to avoid social gatherings of more than 10 people, we encourage the community to attend the meeting virtually via the City's Facebook page.   • The City of Isle of Palms is urging people who come to the beach to follow the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which advises the public to practice social distancing and avoid social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people.

  • City Hall offices remain closed to the public but available by phone and email. Specific contact information is available here.
  • The Building Departments is processing building permits and business licenses via phone, email, and using the forms page here. Please call (843) 886-9912 for more information.
  • Police and Fire Departments will continue with normal operations and continue taking necessary measures to protect personnel from exposure and infection of COVID-19. Please call the non-emergency number at (843) 886-6522 rather than walk-in for non-emergency questions.
  • Garbage collection is operating at a normal schedule.
