Public Safety Building Rehabilitation Project & Relocation

The Public Safety Building will be going through significant renovations starting in March of this year. It is estimated that the project will be completed within 10-12 months. In order to expedite the construction and rehabilitation schedule, the City will relocate the operations from the Police and Fire Departments out of the building.

The City has installed mobile office trailers in Parking Lot A, located on Pavilion Drive and directly behind the Public Safety Building, to accommodate and relocate Fire and Police Department operations during construction.

Starting in March 2020, the operations of both departments will be relocated to this area. Unfortunately, this relocation will reduce the amount of public parking available to Front Beach visitors.

Public parking is available in Parking Lot B, also located on Pavilion Drive, and on Ocean Boulevard between 10th and 14th Avenue.
