In 1999, the City of Isle of Palms purchased the marina facility located at the confluence of Morgan Creek and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The floating docks at the marina are approximately 30-year old timber framed docks. 

The FY21 Budget includes funds to replace the aging docks, including the fuel dock, fuel hut and marine utility infrastructure, located along Morgan Creek. This project also includes needed maintenance for the bulkhead.

The project involves the construction of Phase I and Phase II of the approved conceptual plan of the dock improvement project. 

The City expects to award a contract by the end of September and construction to begin after September 30, 2020. The project is expected to take approximately 5-6 months to complete.

The City is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of the docks at the Isle of Palms Marina. Deadline to submit proposals is 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2020.
