IOP Water and Sewer: Meter Readings Now Available Online

Exciting News about IOP Water and Sewer Customer Portal Access

As customers may be aware, the Isle of Palms Water & Sewer Commission (IOPWSC) has been busy over the past year upgrading our meter reading system. This work includes replacing water meters to a technologically advanced system that has the highest available accuracies, improved Iead detection capabilities, and many other features and capabilities. This system monitors each meter on the system and allows us to remotely read our meters from the office. Additionally, we have also included a new feature that will allow customers to access their meter reading data online. This feature is called the “Customer Portal”.

The Customer Portal allows customers to access their meter readings, view historical data, and set alerts that the customer defines and controls. Using the alert features provides customers the ability to know if they exceed a user-defined usage that could be an indication of a leak or excessive usage. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR ONLINE BILL PAYMENT PLATFORM (INVOICECLOUD) CANNOT BE ACCESSED THROUGH THE CUSTOMER PORTAL, AS THESE ARE COMPLETELY SEPARATE SOFTWARE SYSTEMS!

The Customer Portal is a way for the IOPWSC to provide meter reading data to our customers and promote transparency, reliability, and confidence in our customers' meter readings utilizing one of the most advanced metering systems available.
