In light of the the rioting and looting that erupted in downtown Charleston this past Saturday and Sunday linked to protests associated with the death of George Floyd, Mayor Carroll has declared a state of emergency for the City of Isle of Palms and imposed a curfew from 8:00 p.m. on June 1, 2020 to 6:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2020 to protect life and property and maintain peace and good order.
