2016 Municipal Achievement Award

The City of Isle of Palms received a Municipal Achievement Award for "Doggie Day at the Rec". This event brings together the City's Animal Control with the community and its furry friends. "Doggie Day at the Rec" also provides pet owners with the opportunity to register their dogs and vaccinate them against rabies. Animal welfare groups also attend and promote rescue and adoption opportunities.
